⁦1️⃣⁩ Dates and venue

The İzmir State Symphony Orchestra lists concerts on 30 October and 6, 13, 20 and 27 November 2026 at Ahmed Adnan Saygun Arts Centre, each at 20:00 according to the individual event pages.

The concert pages were reviewed on 28 October 2026. These are announced plans; check the chosen event again before buying a ticket or arranging travel. A 2026–2027 season label does not place every concert in the same year or make one ticket valid for the whole season.

All concerts are at Ahmed Adnan Saygun Arts Centre. Programmes were checked on 28 October 2026; table prices are a separate observation from 27 October, not confirmation of today’s price or seat availability.

⁦2️⃣⁩ 30 October: Republic Day concert

Eray İnal conducts the Republic Day special concert with tenors Aydın Uştuk and Ayhan Uştuk and the İzmir Republic Choir. The announced programme includes arias, songs, marches and dance.

The programme mixes voices, orchestra, choir and dance, so it differs from a purely instrumental symphonic evening. Nevin Apaydın is listed as choir conductor, with Yaşam Balkoca and Metehan Gözütok for dance. Remember that this programme’s Republic Day celebration is on Friday 30 October, rather than the national holiday on 29 October.

⁦3️⃣⁩ 6 November: Swiss–Turkish friendship

Christoph Mathias Müller conducts with violinist Svetlin Roussev. The programme lists Shostakovich’s First Violin Concerto and César Franck’s Symphony in D minor under the Swiss–Turkish friendship concert title.

This may suit a listener seeking both a featured soloist and a symphonic work in one evening. Read the titles before buying if choosing by composer or instrument: “violin” describes the concerto, not a programme consisting entirely of solo playing. The number of works alone does not establish the duration or whether there is an interval.

⁦4️⃣⁩ 13 November: Atatürk remembrance

Rengim Gökmen conducts a programme including Oğuzhan Balcı’s symphonic poem Yankılı Tepeler, with narrators, singers and choirs listed on the event page. Although the concert commemorates 10 November, it takes place on 13 November; distinguish the two dates.

The announcement lists Okan Şenozan as narrator, Görkem Ezgi Yıldırım as soprano, Veysel Barış Yanç as tenor and Arda Aktar as baritone, with the Dokuz Eylül Conservatory and Fermata choirs. A narrator and vocal parts make language a useful question: ask about the text and any translation if understanding the words matters to you.

⁦5️⃣⁩ 20 and 27 November

On 20 November Tolga Taviş conducts a programme including Kıbrıs Süiti, Ulvi Cemal Erkin’s Violin Concerto and Taviş’s First Symphony. On 27 November Hasan Niyazi Tura conducts with guitarist Petrit Çeku in a programme including Mozart and Cemal Reşit Rey’s Katibim guitar concerto.

Nihat Ağdaç is the violinist on 20 November, in a programme linking works by Ali Hoca, Ulvi Cemal Erkin and Tolga Taviş. On 27 November, Mozart’s Idomeneo overture and Symphony No. 29 accompany the Katibim guitar concerto. Choose by programme and instrument instead of treating the five dates as repeat performances.

⁦6️⃣⁩ Tickets and prices

Use the ticket link on the specific concert page, choose the date and seat, and read payment and cancellation conditions before buying. When checked on 27 October 2026, the ticket platform listed prices starting at TRY 215 for all five concerts; prices, fees and seats can change.

A listing or starting price does not guarantee a seat or mean every category costs the same. Check the final price and refund conditions for your chosen ticket.

A practical sequence: open your chosen concert from the orchestra’s website, then match its title, date and hall to the seller’s page. Choose a category and seat and read the order summary before payment, including any added charges.

For several tickets, check adjacent seating if the group needs it. Save tickets so their entry codes can be shown without depending on a strong connection, and do not post the codes publicly. If a concert changes or is cancelled, consult the seller’s notice and your ticket terms rather than assuming an automatic refund in every case.

⁦7️⃣⁩ Getting there and planning

The orchestra lists the venue address as Mehmet Ali Akman Mahallesi, Mithatpaşa Caddesi No:1087, Konak, İzmir. Check the hall entrance and current route before travelling, and allow time for traffic and entry.

If you need step-free access or a suitable seat, ask the venue or seller about the particular concert. Check age and late-entry rules before booking; do not assume they are identical for every event.

For an evening beginning at 20:00, plan outward and return travel first and include early arrival and finding the entrance in your schedule. No unpublished finishing time is assumed here; if your return depends on a last transport service, ask about programme duration before booking.

For a family, ask about minimum age, separate child tickets and late entry. Wheelchair users should specify seating, companion and entrance-route needs when contacting the venue: a general statement about accessibility is not enough to reserve a suitable seat for a particular event.
