CSO Ada Ankara offers three musical options on 23 and 29 October 2026, ranging from a symphonic programme with a violin soloist to a Republic celebration and a tango evening. Crucially, the two performances on 29 October both start at 20:00 in different halls. They are alternatives: choose one, rather than planning to attend both in full as consecutive events. Prices and details below reflect information checked on 20 October; the final ticket and updated event page remain the reference for date and seat.

Choose the date and hall first
All times are Türkiye time. Do not apply main-hall prices to the tango programme in the historic hall: no numerical price for that event was verified in the evidence read. Check the hall on your ticket even though the complex has one address.
23 October: symphonic music and violin
The Presidential Symphony Orchestra performs Melankoli ve Gül in cooperation with the United Nations, conducted by Leo Hussain with violin soloist Diana Tishchenko. The programme includes Emīls Dārziņš’s Valse Mélancolique, Mozart’s Violin Concerto No.5 in A major, K.219, “Turkish”, Ahmed Adnan Saygun’s Ritual Dance, Op.57, and Richard Strauss’s Der Rosenkavalier Suite, Op.59.
The 23 October ticket page estimates 44 minutes for the first half, a 15-minute interval and 44 minutes for the second half: 103 minutes overall. Starting at 20:00 would arithmetically suggest an approximate finish at 21:43 if the performance follows that estimate. This is not a guaranteed exit time or onward connection.
29 October: Voice of the Republic
Official promotional artwork for Cumhuriyetin Sesi. The 29 October 2026 at 20:00 date and Ziraat Bankası Ana Salon venue come from the event page, not this banner.
The Republic’s 103rd-anniversary celebration in the main hall brings together the Ankara State Classical Turkish Music Choir, Ankara State Turkish Folk Music Choir and Ankara State Performing Arts Ensemble. The ticket page additionally lists the Ankara Turkic World Music and Dance Ensemble. We distinguish the different levels of detail rather than claiming the two rosters match word for word.
The description promises songs, folk melodies, dance and performing arts, but does not publish a detailed running order or confirmed finish time to add here. Use the Voice of the Republic ticket page for this performance alone; its ticket does not include the simultaneous tango evening.
29 October: tango in the historic hall
Official promotional artwork for Cumhuriyet Tangoları, showing a historically styled dancing couple. The 29 October 2026 at 20:00 date and Tarihi Salon venue come from the event page.
Cumhuriyet Tangoları presents Turkish and international tango, waltzes and popular works, directed by Dinçer Özer, who also plays percussion. The performers are Figen Genç, vocals; Yeliz Bozkurt, vocals and presentation; Funda Özyurt, presentation; Macit Maral, saxophone; Kemal Özen, accordion; Okyay Şenocak, guitar and vocals; Kemal Günüç, piano; Güneş Apaydın, bass guitar; and Zeki Ertunç, drums.
The ticket page says 34 seats will open for sale 24 hours before the performance and refers to youth tickets through the Sanat Cepte application. This describes a later release, not proof that 34 seats are available now or a guarantee of a ticket. A numerical price and final youth-ticket eligibility were not established. Accordingly, the programme is not described as free, eligibility is not extended to every age or nationality, and prices are not borrowed from the other concert.
Five categories for the two priced performances
This table applies to 23 October and Voice of the Republic on 29 October; the price interface for each was actually read. Amounts are Turkish lira for one person at one performance. The table does not cover tango or establish that every category remains available.
The starting-price heading shows TRY 75.01, whereas the student category-5 table shows TRY 75.00. The one-kuruş difference is unresolved and is not automatically labelled a commission or tax. No final checkout total or specific service charge has been verified, nor was the inclusion of VAT in each item independently established.
For planning only, two full-price category-5 tickets total TRY 300, or TRY 1,490 in category 1, according to the table, before any unverified final charge, parking and travel. Do not assume student pricing applies to a foreign card or to a child simply because of age. Check the required document and reduction before paying; no uniform acceptance rule for overseas student identification was established here.
Age, lateness and admission
Official pages exclude children aged six and under, while everyone over six requires a ticket. Accompaniment by parents does not waive that condition. Plan to arrive early and be seated at least ten minutes before the start, before 19:50 for these programmes, with extra time for parking and entry.
The wording on lateness differs between sources. The operator’s page describes staff-directed admission during applause, subject to variations, while the tango ticket page says late arrivals enter in the second half when there is an interval and are not admitted to performances without an interval. We therefore make no late-entry guarantee. Arrive before the start and follow staff decisions; do not assume you will reach your original seat after arriving late.
Use the allocated seat and do not move during the performance. Camera or phone recording is prohibited, as are cameras, selfie sticks, suitcases and large backpacks. Food and drink must remain outside the halls; smoking and electronic cigarettes are prohibited indoors. Leaving and returning during a performance depends on staff direction and interval rules.
Reaching the complex
The official address is Talatpaşa Bulvarı No:38, 06330 Opera, Ankara. The official directions page lists Sıhhiye and Adliye metro stations, Selim Sırrı Tarcan Spor Salonu or Adliye bus stops, and Yenişehir station on Başkentray. These are ways to reach the complex, not a promise about frequency, fares or the last service on concert night. Check the transport operator before returning, particularly on the 29 October holiday.
The published capacities are 2,023 in the main hall and 683 in the historic hall. These describe the buildings, not available ticket inventory. Anyone needing a wheelchair position, a route with fewer steps or particular support should confirm arrangements with the operator before purchase. Photographs and capacity do not establish that every seat is suitable or a particular service available.
Parking is a separate cost
These are the rates displayed on the parking page when read on 20 October. No printed effective date is shown, and a concert ticket does not guarantee a vehicle space. Count time from actual entry to departure, including waiting before and after the performance. A roughly 103-minute concert plus early arrival could approach the three-hour threshold depending on queues; TRY 75 is not a guaranteed parking cost for every visit. The extracted text does not explain boundary calculations, tax additions or other conditions; check signage and instructions on entry.
Before confirming a purchase
Choose one performance for 29 October, and check its hall, date, seat, category and total. Read the ticket-specific cancellation conditions before paying; there is no general promise of a refund if your plans change. Keep the electronic ticket and any required discount documentation, and separate ticket costs from parking and travel. Dates and programmes may change at the organiser’s discretion, and a displayed price does not mean a seat is still available. For tango, the price and youth-ticket eligibility still require confirmation on the sales page before you rely on them.
