Location and transport
Open the botanical garden map and check the entrance and return route. It is on Zübeyde Hanım Boulevard in Şehitkamil; this does not verify a particular entrance.
Exploring the garden
Descriptions of the garden list Japanese, rose and aquatic sections, as well as a rock garden and medicinal and endemic plants. Depending on the season and conditions, cherry blossoms may appear in spring and water lilies in summer. Look for Turkish and Latin plant labels where available, check which sections are open, and leave plants undisturbed.

Tickets and hours
A decision dated 12 March 2026 set the 2026 admission tariff at 30 TL full and 15 TL student. Confirm current implementation and student eligibility before visiting; any additional charges are unverified. One opening-hours table lists 18:00 closing, while its notes say half an hour before sunset depending on season. Check the actual closing time before setting out.Do not confuse the existing garden with the separate Gastrobotanik project, which was under construction in July 2026.

Start with the open sections, then allow time to sit and observe seasonal plants. Check weather, paths and facilities before arrival; displays and access vary. Do not assume the student ticket includes separately operated facilities.
Visiting as a family
