Küçük Çamlıca Grove in Istanbul: Trees, Transport and Çamlıca Tower
Küçük Çamlıca Grove offers wooded walking space in Üsküdar on Istanbul’s Asian side. It is distinct from Büyük Çamlıca Grove; Çamlıca Tower is a separate destination with its own visitor arrangements.

1️⃣ Location and transport

The grove is in Üsküdar. Its social facility is inside the grove at Oyma Sokak No. 3. Open the named grove on the map. Plan the last section by bus or taxi from your starting point and check the entrance before setting off.

2️⃣ What to see

Walk among the trees on open paths. Earlier renewal works described a heritage-tree route; check whether it is accessible when you visit. Earlier works renewed paths, play areas and ornamental ponds; check each facility’s condition on arrival rather than assuming it is open.

3️⃣ A practical visit

4️⃣ Tower, food and costs

If adding Çamlıca Tower, check its operator’s current hours and tickets; do not assume its arrangements cover the grove. There is a social facility in the grove: check whether it is open and ask for its menu and prices. Budget separately for transport, parking and food.

5️⃣ Families and accessibility

Slopes and path conditions can vary. Ask which entrance suits a wheelchair or pushchair and whether toilets are available. Supervise children near water and elevated areas; check the weather and wear comfortable shoes.

6️⃣ Before you go

Check current hours, services and notices; follow rules on food and protecting trees. Plan the return trip and distinguish Küçük from Büyük Çamlıca when choosing your destination.

7️⃣ What makes the grove distinctive?

Istanbul municipality’s green-space bulletin describes the grove as approximately 271,000 square metres. Its renewal included a heritage-tree route with information signs, and work on paths, play areas and artificial ponds. These are reported works, not a guarantee that every feature is open now: follow the signs and barriers in place on your visit. Allow time to observe the trees, rest and return to your entrance, particularly on a first visit.

8️⃣ Planning your day

Enter the full name Küçük Çamlıca Korusu in your map. Oyma Sokak No. 3 identifies the social facility and is not necessarily the best entrance for every visitor. Compare available routes from your accommodation on the day, checking your bus stop and the remaining distance before choosing a bus or taxi.
If combining the grove with Çamlıca Tower, allow separate time for each and check onward transport and the tower’s opening arrangements before booking. If walking among trees is your priority, the grove can be an outing on its own; families should check which play facilities and services are open on arrival.

9️⃣ Frequently asked questions

Is this the same as Büyük Çamlıca? No. They are different places, so look for Küçük in the name.
Does a tower ticket include the grove? The tower is a separate destination. Check its terms independently.
What will the visit cost? We have not quoted an unverified price. Check parking, food and any services you plan to use before setting off.
