1️⃣ Does Akmerkez fit your day?

Akmerkez is a shopping centre in Etiler, Beşiktaş, on Istanbul’s European side. Its owner’s official address is Kültür Mahallesi, Nisbetiye Caddesi, Akmerkez No:56/1, Beşiktaş. The street also appears as Nispetiye. Save both the mall name and address: Etiler is a whole neighbourhood, not a precise arrival point.

Opened in 1993, the mall has three connected indoor atriums. It suits a visit combining specific purchases with a meal or film, particularly if you are staying in Etiler or Levent. Do not assume it is an outlet or offers permanent discounts. Before choosing a distant mall, compare travel time and check the shop or activity you actually want. A listed brand does not guarantee a particular product or size.

2️⃣ What to shop for and where to start

The official directory includes Vakko, Mango, Zara&Zara Kids and Macro Center. These examples help organise a visit; they are neither a complete list nor a promise that every item shown online is stocked in this branch. Start with purchases requiring a fitting, then smaller items. A photograph of the product label helps compare sizes and colours without retracing every shop.

Your needExample in the official directoryPractical use
Occasion clothingVakko; ground and minus 1 floorsLocate the department before changing levels
Everyday clothingMango; floor 1Ask about sizes and gift exchanges
Family purchasesZara&Zara Kids; floor 1Confirm the children’s department and age range
GroceriesMacro Center; floor 1Leave temperature-sensitive purchases until departure

Zemin Kat means ground floor and 1.Kat first floor. Use the current mall map on arrival, as locations can change. For an expensive purchase, request an itemised receipt and ask the individual shop about warranties and exchanges; one retailer’s terms do not apply throughout the mall.

3️⃣ Food and coffee within your schedule

Ground-floor meal options listed by the mall include Midpoint, Serafina and Little Buddha. Floor2 has alternatives including Bursa Kebap Evi, Green Salads and Biber Burger. For coffee or something sweet, consider Divan Patisserie or Vakko Patisserie on the ground floor. Read the menu before sitting down and discuss allergies directly with staff; dish names and photographs do not establish ingredients.

Choose food around what comes next. Before a film, allow time to order, pay and reach the cinema. With children, an early break between shops may work better than leaving food until the end. Restaurant hours and reservations can differ from shopping hours. There is no single meal budget here: calculate from the menu you choose on your visit date.

4️⃣ Children, cinema and an outdoor break

The children’s playground is on Üçgen Teras, an outdoor space. Account for the weather and read the on-site age and supervision rules. A playground is not a childcare service or permission to leave a child alone. For workshops and special activities, use an announcement specifying date, age and registration rather than an old event photograph.

The official cinema listing names Akmerkez Etiler Cinemapink; use on-site signs and information to identify its entrance and floor, as mall pages describe its location differently. Its booking link leads to Biletiva. Choose the film and session, then check language, dubbing or subtitles and age classification before paying. No universal ticket tariff was established from the pages read; one session or concession price cannot be extended to others. Confirm the actual session before building the day around it.

5️⃣ Arriving by metro, bus or car

From M2, change at Levent to M6 towards Boğaziçi Ü./Hisarüstü. Nispetiye is the next station in the official sequence. The entrance document calls its entrance Nispetiye Girişi; this identifies the station entrance, not a guaranteed indoor mall connection. After leaving the station, locate Akmerkez on a pedestrian map and follow the route towards its Nispetiye Caddesi address, using appropriate road crossings. No dependable walking distance or duration was established here, so do not build a tight appointment around “a few minutes”. Etiler is both the neighbourhood name and a later station; distinguish them.

Wheelchair or pushchairPlan the lift and external section in advancePavements, crossings and assistance; do not assume an obstacle-free route

With heavy purchases or a tired child, you may prefer different transport for the return rather than repeating the same walk. General line operating hours do not identify your station’s last train; check the actual return journey that day.

6️⃣ Hours, parking, facilities and costs

The official FAQ read on28 October 2026 gives normal hours as daily 10:00–22:00, with holiday and special-day changes announced through the mall account. The main-entrance information desk operates 10:00–22:00. The mall telephone is +90 212 282 01 70.

The car park has four levels. Its dedicated page states that the first 30minutes are free, followed by charges depending on length of stay. The page did not show a lira tariff table: read the entrance tariff and do not assume shopping cancels the charge. App-linked benefits depend on their offer terms and are not guaranteed free parking for everyone. Valet points are at the main, Etiler and Ulus entrances. Valet and self-parking are different services; ask the total valet charge before handing over the car.

Baby-care rooms are listed on every floor. To borrow a pushchair, its page explains scanning the QR code through Puset & Tekerlekli Sandalye in the Akmerkez app, then obtaining Easy Point approval for collection and return. For a wheelchair, visit main-entrance information. Call beforehand if your visit depends on availability. Ask for the nearest suitable lift and toilet too: a detailed accessibility map was not established in this reading. Assistance facilities do not guarantee immediate availability or every borrowing condition.

7️⃣ A flexible visit plan

For shopping and a meal, allow roughly two to three hours as a planning estimate. Begin with information and identify two or three shops, allow about an hour for essential purchases, then take a meal break. Leave Macro Center until departure if buying food requiring care. This is a suggested schedule, not a mall-published duration or a guarantee of quick service.

With family, include the playground if weather permits and find the baby-care room before it becomes urgent. In rain, make shopping and a meal or film the core plan rather than depending on the terrace. If adding a film, add its runtime and waiting time, then recalculate parking costs and the return journey. A particular purchase may need a shorter visit; you need not combine every activity in one day.

8️⃣ Questions before visiting

Is this a discount mall?
Do not plan on that assumption. Check each retailer’s offer, conditions and dates.

Can I reach it from Levent without changing?
Other last-leg transport is possible, but the metro route described here changes from M2 to M6, exits at Nispetiye and includes an outdoor walk. An indoor connection to the mall was not established in this reading.

Is parking free all day?
Only the first 30minutes are established here. Later charges depend on duration and any offer whose conditions you meet.

Do children need a reservation?
Check each workshop announcement. The outdoor playground, a registered workshop and the cinema are different activities and do not automatically share conditions or prices.

Can I borrow a pushchair or wheelchair?
Individual service pages explain how to request them; information staff confirm availability and conditions on your visit date.

What should I confirm before setting out?
That day’s hours, the shop and size you need, any film session, your return route, and parking or valet charges if using them.
