The Turkish Cup ended with Trabzonspor winning the trophy by beating Konyaspor 2–1 in Antalya on 22 May 2026. This guide distinguishes the calendar announced in January from the dates on which the matches actually took place and explains the knockout format. The supplementary reply covers the goals and the club’s title record.
Updated 15 October 2026. The competition has concluded; the original dates are a historical record, not a forthcoming fixture list.
The initial plan and the actual dates
| Round | Calendar announced on 21 January | Actual dates |
|---|---|---|
| Quarter-finals | 21–23 April 2026 | 21–23 April 2026 |
| Semi-finals | 12–14 May 2026 | 5 and 13 May 2026 |
| Final | 24 May 2026 | 22 May 2026, at 20:45 in Türkiye |
How did the knockout format work?
Each tie was a single knockout match.
The final was played at a neutral venue selected by TFF: Corendon Airlines Park in Antalya.
In the quarter-finals, the three group winners and the best runners-up were seeded and hosted their ties. Semi-final hosts were determined by the draw.
Why does a single match matter?
The format makes every tie consequential: one defeat ends a team’s campaign, while a win moves it closer to a major domestic trophy. Following cautious game management and decisive details can be useful, while assessments of favourites and dark horses remain football analysis rather than guaranteed outcomes.
How did the season conclude?
Trabzonspor beat Konyaspor 2–1 in the final on 22 May. TFF then ratified the competition’s results on 25 May. The match date and the date of official ratification are separate milestones; one should not replace the other in the record.
