Where is the centre?The outlet stands in Sanayi Mahallesi, Ömer Türkçakal Bulvarı on the old Gölcük road, Eski Gölcük Yolu, in İzmit, Kocaeli. It is a shopping destination in the city.
Operating since 1997, the centre is presented by the Bayraktar group as a factory-outlet shopping centre. Use the full name Outlet Center İzmit when setting your destination and check the entrance and parking before driving. If arriving in İzmit by public transport, include the final connection from your arrival station to the centre in your schedule.
A visit shaped by the weatherThe open-air layout makes walking between shops part of the day, so check the forecast and dress for walking. In rain, a shorter list of shops may be practical; in hot weather, allow breaks and carry enough water for your needs.
There are restaurants, cafés and a courtyard food area, alongside entertainment spaces. Take a break after an initial comparison of purchases, giving yourself time to make a considered choice and discuss what you have found with the group.
