A verified seller account, an accurate offer and a calculated logistics choice
An illustrative image of online shopping. — General illustrative photo.
Selling on Amazon Türkiye requires a seller account, verifiable entity and identity details and financial instruments, followed by a product offer you can fulfill. A shopping account does not perform these functions, and a product's presence in Amazon's catalog does not make your offer eligible for it. Identify the exact matching product, review restrictions and configure prices, stock and shipping.
This guide covers Amazon.com.tr sales within Türkiye. It explains registration, product pages versus seller offers, and Satıcıdan Gönderim, Amazon Kolay Gönderi and Amazon Lojistik. European or Arab-market selling does not automatically follow from a domestic account; separate country, tax and shipping requirements apply. A hypothetical cost model illustrates the reasoning without generalizing fees or treating temporary campaigns as permanent conditions.
Define the selling model and responsible party
First establish whether you sell supplier-sourced goods or your own brand, and who owns the entity, contracts, invoices and receives proceeds. Record answers before uploading documents because name differences can obstruct verification or settlement. The customer-facing store name does not replace the legal business name.
The official registration page lists company details, its Turkish tax number, contacts, card and bank account. General application requirements do not constitute advance approval of your case. Choose products with provable sources and repeatable supply, then establish category, brand or logistics approval needs.
Assign Seller Central management, messages, orders and account-health monitoring. Limit permissions to tasks and keep primary access under business control. With connectors or operating agencies, agree record handover and access changes at termination so control of the store and customer data is retained.
Prepare registration documents under their correct names
Connect the company file to the main person representing it during registration. Amazon's official guide requires Vergi Levhası details to match submitted information and addresses identity, address and representation evidence. Use clear complete issuer-provided documents rather than application screenshots failing the displayed requirements.
Do not confuse address evidence with bank-account verification. A bank document suitable for one purpose may need different information for another. Organize each verification request and ask about accepted language and document dates if unclear. Differing names or addresses need explanations and correct documents, not edited images.
Before submitting, have someone read names, numbers, addresses and entity types literally. Save uploaded versions and dates. Do not copy checklists from another country's Amazon store because accepted documents and tax information vary by market and route.
| Item | Document or information | Required match |
|---|---|---|
| Taxable business | Vergi Levhası and tax number | Entity name and registration details |
| Main person's identity | Passport or official identity accepted in the route | Person undergoing verification |
| Address | Banka Hesap Özeti or Kredi Kartı Ekstresi, or other accepted evidence | Person's name and registered address |
| Representation where applicable | İmza Sirküleri or Yetki Belgesi as requested | Authority to represent the company |
| Proceeds | Lira account details and statement where verification is requested | Beneficiary and account number against registration |
| Fee collection | Accepted valid credit card | Payment instrument separate from the proceeds account |
Complete verification as a substantive requirement
Choose a main person able to provide identification and personally complete verification. The route may request identity and face images or visual verification through available options. Prepare original documents, good lighting and a suitable connection, following displayed instructions rather than assuming company uploads complete personal verification.
Account guidance describes bank verification that may need an additional document if automatic checks fail. Retain an official document containing required information and use the accepted account in its correct holder's name. The aim is matching source and submitted details, not merely an IBAN capable of receiving money.
For delays or additional requests, monitor application status and email. Do not launch advertising around an expected deadline or create another account to bypass the first account's problem. Record case numbers and supplied information and ask support to clarify correction requirements. Verification is an operating condition, not a guarantee of product approval.
Separate foreign-owner status from account requirements
Foreign ownership of a Turkish company concerns incorporation; working within Türkiye concerns a permit or exemption according to circumstances; Amazon acceptance is separate verification. Residence, partnership and incorporation certificates do not establish all three. Identify who manages and prepares orders and in which country they work.
For foreign representatives, ask about accepted identity, registration, representation authority and translated or certified documents where requested. For companies outside Türkiye, ask about entity acceptance and Turkish requirements; a local receiving address does not replace taxes or actual business details.
Official FAQs state that solely domestic-intermediary sales do not require ETBİS registration and reporting, while independent websites or foreign intermediaries need different assessment. Separate ETBİS from Amazon acceptance and work authorization. Every additional market needs local review of taxes, products and returns even when Amazon tools facilitate connections.

Find the exact product before creating a new page
If the same product exists in the catalog, add an offer to the matching product rather than creating a duplicate page. Match brand, model, barcode, size, color, pack quantity and condition. Do not choose a heavily reviewed page for a different model or bundle; customer trust concerns the displayed product.
Distinguish ASIN, identifying Amazon products, SKU, identifying your offer and stock, and commercial codes such as EAN or UPC. Listing guidance explains that internal codes do not replace commercial identifiers. Products without GTIN may qualify to request an exemption, but exemption is not automatic for every product or brand.
Check current category and brand restrictions. Approval may require an invoice, authorization letter or another document. Purchase invoices alone do not prove all brand permissions or image-copying rights. Retain sourcing evidence, submit the required product- and case-specific document and monitor selling approval.
| Identifier | What it identifies | Practical rule |
|---|---|---|
| ASIN | Product in Amazon's catalog | Match the actual model and bundle |
| SKU | Your offer and internal item code | Link it to stock and fulfillment |
| EAN / UPC and other GTINs | Commercial product identifier | Do not replace it with an invented warehouse code |
| Variant | Size, color or capacity | Do not combine different items without appropriate rules |
| GTIN exemption or brand approval | Application subject to conditions and a decision | Follow approval rather than assuming it |
Review images, descriptions and restrictions before publishing
Prepare actual-product images with clear use rights and titles and bullet points describing components, measurements and use. Review shared product pages before adding offers rather than assuming existing information is correct. Seek corrections through the appropriate route for shared-product errors.
Follow current image and category requirements and remove unsupported claims such as official warranties, universal compatibility or certificates unrelated to the model. Clarify quantity, accessories and condition. General article images are illustrative; listings need matching content that does not imply excluded accessories are included.
Check both selling and storage eligibility: a product permitted in the market may not qualify for the chosen fulfillment method. Read safety, hazardous-material, expiry and labeling requirements where applicable. Start with a sample listing and verify final status and displayed content before uploading large ranges or spending on advertising.
Choose among three fulfillment models
Under Satıcıdan Gönderim, you retain stock, prepare orders and ship according to account settings and policies. Under Amazon Kolay Gönderi, stock and packing remain with you while the route's carrier-assisted delivery service is used. Amazon Lojistik, or FBA, involves sending stock to a fulfillment center for storage and order preparation under the program.
Choose for the specific item rather than the service's fame. Slow-moving or large goods have different economics from small fast-moving items, and an organized local warehouse may suit demand testing. External storage requires replenishment, withdrawal and unsold-stock cost plans.
Program access does not make services free. Check eligibility, dimensions, coverage, contracts and tariffs, specifying your duties and the service's. You can assess different models by eligible products and account conditions, but keep records preventing one quantity being offered through two routes and sold twice.
| Model | Stock and preparation location | Responsibility to control |
|---|---|---|
| Satıcıdan Gönderim | Your warehouse, with your team preparing orders | Carrier, tracking, timing and customer service |
| Amazon Kolay Gönderi where available | Your warehouse and packing with the service carrier | Dimensions, label and handover through the route |
| Amazon Lojistik / FBA | Fulfillment center after goods receipt | Dispatch plan, labels, quantities and costs |
| Selection decision | Made for each suitable item | Turnover, dimensions, liquidity and returns |
Prepare FBA stock according to the shipping plan
For Amazon Lojistik, create a shipping plan in Seller Central and follow the assigned address and instructions. Do not use a generic article address or a previous order's warehouse without matching the plan. Specify each item's quantity and align barcodes, labeling and packing with program and product rules.
Record dispatched quantities, box counts, contents and carrier-handover evidence. Monitor receiving, accepted quantities, discrepancies and saleable status. Parcel arrival at a fulfillment center does not prove all stock immediately became available. Gather preparation and shipping evidence for differences and submit through the correct follow-up route.
Do not buy more solely for temporary free-storage promises. Check offer conditions, product eligibility and expiry, planning storage, returns, withdrawal or disposal of slow stock. Replenish from actual sales and supplier lead times, with suitable operating allowance rather than tying all cash to an untested item.

Calculate fees and order budgets from your statements
The pricing page lists subscriptions, category commission, fulfillment, storage and other services. Subscription waivers are changeable conditional campaigns rather than proof of cost-free selling. Commission may apply to the total paid by customers under the tariff; review its base and shipping, discount and tax effects for your account.
The following fully hypothetical lira example is neither Amazon pricing nor a category rate. Assume analytical sales 1000, goods 500, commission 140, fulfillment and preparation 100, storage and service allowance 30, and advertising 70. The remaining 160 is contribution before fixed expenses and tax reconciliation, not net profit or expected payout.
Test sensitivity: increasing assumed fulfillment costs to 140 while other items stay fixed leaves contribution of 120. Recalculate seller-funded discounts or commission changes under actual rules. Some tax deductions from marketplace proceeds are not selling commission; classify them with the accountant rather than combining them in one unknown item.
| Hypothetical item | Amount in lira | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Analytical sales amount | 1000 | Teaching starting point |
| Goods | 500 | Assumed cost |
| Commission | 140 | Hypothetical figure unrelated to an actual category |
| Fulfillment and preparation | 100 | Assumed service for this order |
| Storage and service | 30 | Hypothetical comparison allowance |
| Advertising | 70 | Separate assumed expense |
| Contribution before fixed costs and taxes | 160 | 1000 − 500 − 140 − 100 − 30 − 70 |

Monitor the first sale, invoice and transfer
After publication, verify customer-visible price, quantity, variant and fulfillment. Confirm sales in Seller Central order records; email alerts aid monitoring but do not replace order-status checks. Do not prepare or ship from unverified messages or statuses that do not permit dispatch.
From your warehouse, reserve, inspect and invoice the item, link it to the order, then hand over through the designated method with tracking. Under FBA, monitor order, stock and fulfillment reports and complete product-data, invoicing and program responsibilities. Fulfillment services do not remove responsibility for accurate products.
Reconcile orders with settlement statements and bank transfers. The fee page explains payment timing may depend on schedules, status and reserves, so a general date is not guaranteed receipt for every amount. Retain order numbers, fees, returns, invoices and transfers, identifying differences before opening specific support inquiries.

Manage returns and account health
Review customer requests promptly through platform routes, separating withdrawal, defects, wrong goods and delays. Retain product, packing and tracking evidence without asking customers to move disputes outside official channels. Inspect returns before restoring saleable stock, recording shortages, damage and the condition in which they may be offered.
Amazon Lojistik handles returns within its scope, but you must monitor returned-stock status, settlements and withdrawal decisions. Do not confuse returning an item to a customer or warehouse with invoice correction or financial completion; each stage may need separate records.
Monitor account-health notices and content or sourcing violations, reading requests before generic replies. If invoices or authenticity evidence are requested, submit correct documents for the goods and entity rather than modifying them to fit the problem. Also fix operational causes such as incorrect barcodes or unreliable suppliers. Ratings do not replace compliance and fulfillment, and do not request reviews in exchange for benefits.

FAQs and launch checklist
Does a free seller subscription or FBA offer at registration mean no selling fees?
No. Subscription, commission, fulfillment, storage and services are separate items. Check waiver conditions and duration, then use category and model tariffs to calculate orders after expiry too.
Can I use SKU instead of EAN when creating products?
SKU is your internal offer code rather than the commercial identifier. For products without GTIN, follow the exemption application route where eligible and monitor the decision; do not invent random barcodes to bypass requirements.
Does a foreign-owned Turkish company guarantee account approval?
No. Company, tax, identity, representation and banking undergo verification, while those working in Türkiye assess permits or exemptions for their roles. Ask about your route rather than assuming residence or incorporation resolves all acceptance.
