Perşembe's coast in Ordu combines winding shores, headlands, villages and a close relationship between farming and the sea. Yason Cape, Çaka Beach and Hoynat Island offer different ways to explore this landscape.
Yason Cape projects into the Black Sea, with a stone church standing in an open coastal setting. The building and its surroundings bring religious heritage and seascape together.
The area's old legends belong to a different kind of story from the documented history of the church. Appreciate both while keeping mythology and established architectural history distinct.
Çaka is one of Perşembe's well-known beaches, with sand and green slopes forming part of the wider coast. It offers a change of pace from the cape and its historic building.
The surroundings are varied: rocky sections, bays, villages and cultivated land all contribute to the coastal scene. Choose stops that allow you to see this variety without rushing between them.
Hoynat is a small rocky island near the shore, offering an opportunity to watch birds and appreciate the changing coastal outline from land.
Observe from a suitable distance and avoid disturbing the habitat. A shore-based viewpoint allows photographs without approaching nesting or resting birds.
Perşembe and its coastal villages connect fishing, farming and hazelnut growing. The relationship between land and sea is visible in everyday life as much as in the better-known sights. Maritime landmarks and rural architecture preserve the memory of communities connected to both sea and land.
This coastal district is separate from Perşembe Plateau in Aybastı. Check the full destination name when using maps so that the two places are not confused.
Check weather and roads, and allow for rain or fog affecting views and driving. Facilities may have seasonal hours or close for maintenance.
Use public routes and viewpoints, respect homes and farmland, and follow any local restrictions around historic structures and wildlife. Leave enough time for the return journey and keep the shore free of litter.
