Forum Bornova combines outdoor and indoor shopping areas near Ege University in north-east İzmir. Its design draws on a Mediterranean town, with streets joining squares and seating areas. It suits those who enjoy walking between shops and want fresh air and time to sit as part of their visit.
Check the weather before going and choose clothing and shoes for moving between outdoor areas. With children or a group, agree on a clear meeting point inside the centre. Divide the day into shorter browsing and rest periods, leaving enough time for your main shop.

From Bornova metro station, buses 59 and 259 serve the centre. Check the route, direction and service updates when visiting; knowing the mall’s name does not replace confirming where to board and which stop you need.
The centre includes IKEA and 5M Migros alongside other shops, cinema and entertainment options. Focus on fashion, home essentials or everyday purchases according to the shops you choose to check before arriving.

| Purpose of visit | Useful preparation |
|---|---|
| Clothing or shoes | Identify sizes and try items on |
| Home essentials | Space measurements, package size and transport |
| Family outing | A meeting point and breaks between shops |
Café and restaurant terraces, palm trees and awnings form part of the centre’s design. Choose a break suited to the weather and check your list and bags before continuing. Ask each shop about exchanges, keep receipts and check the hours of your intended venues.
