Getting e-Devlet Access in Türkiye: Registration, Sign-In and Recovery
e-Devlet is Türkiye's official gateway to participating public institutions' online services. It can save repeat visits, but the available functions depend on your identity record, eligibility and the individual service. Some transactions still require documents or an appointment.
Services you may find
Depending on your account, you can access address records, vehicle-fine enquiries, tax information, social-security records, educational records and application enquiries. Residence applications and some other procedures use their own linked official systems. Being able to sign in does not mean every function is available to every foreign national.Obtaining an e-Devlet password through PTT
PTT's guidance allows foreign nationals holding the relevant Turkish-issued identity number beginning 98 or 99 to obtain a password with an accepted valid identity document. A tourist passport by itself is not a universal basis for eligible access.- Check the current accepted documents and attend a PTT location providing the service.
- Present the required identity document and identifying number.
- Request an e-Devlet password and follow the personal delivery procedure.
- Open the official e-Devlet website and sign in through its password route.
- Follow the first-login instructions, set your own password and verify your contact details.
Signing in through internet banking
If your identity and bank account support this route, select Giriş Yap, then İnternet Bankacılığı on the official gateway. Choose your bank from the current list and authenticate on the bank's own secure page. This can provide access without first obtaining a PTT password and may allow you to set an e-Devlet password afterwards.Banks mentioned in the earlier guide include Ziraat Bankası, VakıfBank, İş Bankası, Garanti BBVA, Halkbank, Enpara, Kuveyt Türk and Yapı Kredi. Use the current login screen to confirm participating banks and eligible access; a bank account alone does not guarantee the option works for every customer.
Recovering access
The official Şifremi Unuttum process can reset a password when its identity and previously verified contact requirements are met. If you no longer have the registered telephone or cannot complete recovery, follow the official alternative authentication or PTT procedure. Your identifying number is used for sign-in; do not rely on a separate invented username.Security settings
Keep your password private, use the official app or website, sign out on shared devices and review the two-step sign-in options in Şifre ve Güvenlik Ayarlarım. Keep verified contact details current. Never disclose banking credentials or verification codes to an intermediary offering government paperwork.Links mentioned in the earlier guide
Service names and routes can change. If a direct link is unavailable or not eligible for your account, search by the institution and service name from the official gateway; do not assume an unavailable link proves that a record does not exist.- https://www.turkiye.gov.tr/nvi-adres-degisikligi-bildirimi
