Anafartalar often appears in searches for shopping in Ulus, but the name can refer to the street or different commercial buildings. This guide covers Anafartalar Çarşısı, the bazaar that has undergone structural strengthening and refurbishment of its façades and interiors. Identifying the name before setting out saves a stop at the wrong market, particularly for a specific shop or a look at the building during an Ulus walk.

Use the full name Anafartalar Çarşısı with Ankara and check a photograph of the building and your destination’s address. Anafartalar Belediye Çarşısı is another, separate bazaar. If a seller gives you directions by phone, ask for the building name, floor and entrance, sending a screenshot of the map location if necessary.
The bazaar forms part of Ulus’s commercial fabric. Municipal work has included structural reinforcement and renewal of façades, ceilings, walls, floors and installations. Architectural details add interest to visiting shops, but do not assume every floor or entrance opens at the same time. Follow signs on site and ask the information desk or intended shop for the current route.

Start with a short list: product type, size or dimensions and maximum budget. Inspect clothing stitching and try the size if possible; for homeware, ask about material and exchanging a defective piece. Request an invoice identifying your purchases and agree on the exchange policy before paying. A historic market setting does not make every shop’s goods equal in quality or origin.
Begin with your intended shop, then add a short walk through nearby streets according to your time and walking ability. Avoid carrying large purchases through a long sightseeing outing and choose a clear pick-up point for the return. With children, plan a break close to your route and agree on a recognisable meeting place rather than trying to follow everyone through the passages.

For a particular service or product, call the shop first to confirm its location and hours. Check that your intended section is open that day and that your size or item is available before paying for transport. Older photographs record the bazaar and area at the time they were taken; façades, signs and shop activity may since have changed.

| Anafartalar Belediye Çarşısı | A separate bazaar with its own full name | Do not rely on “Anafartalar” alone |
| Anafartalar Caddesi | The street name | Identify the shop or building |
