Shopping with an architectural character
Kanyon in Levent combines shopping, dining and social spaces in architecture open to the sky. Opened in 2006, it was designed by Tabanlıoğlu, Jerde and Arup as part of a development with shops, offices and residences. Its character comes from the relationship between movement through the centre and its open space, making it a useful stop for visitors interested in city design as well as purchases.
Enjoying the place itself

Expect to move between shopping spaces and open areas. Check the weather and choose comfortable clothing for a break outside the shops. On a rainy day, be more specific about your intended shops to avoid wandering between scattered purchases.

If you enjoy photography, pause to observe the spaces and overlapping levels before shopping. Photograph from a safe position without blocking others, and ask before taking pictures inside shops. This visual exploration also helps you remember your location and associate a floor name with a nearby shop or café.
Shops, food and entertainment

The centre combines international and local brands with pop-ups and experiences that change with its programme. If visiting for one brand, find it in the current directory before setting out and note its location and contact details. A brand’s presence does not guarantee every product or size.

Plan a meal break around your day. There are restaurants and cafés, a cinema, and cultural and social activities. Choose your meal or film after allocating shopping time, and check the current programme for an event. Avoid basing the day on an occasion unannounced for your visit.

A practical family plan

There is a children’s area on floor -2. Pushchairs are available in the baby-care room on P1 and wheelchairs at designated security points. Ask information how to access them on arrival, then place a children’s break between shop visits instead of postponing it until the end.

For a balanced visit, begin at the shop requiring fittings, walk a little to appreciate the architecture, then finish with a meal or coffee. Agree a clearly named meeting point with your companions and decide essential purchases in advance. This helps you enjoy the setting and buy what you need without repeatedly covering the same floors.
