Metropol Istanbul: Shops, Activities and Transport

1️⃣ Metropol in Ataşehir: choosing your visit

Metropol Istanbul is an Asian-side shopping centre within a complex in Atatürk, Ataşehir. It combines clothing, homeware and technology stores with HUPALUPA, cinema and DasDas. Choose a particular purchase, family activity or evening performance, then fit the day around it. It is separate from Palladium, Akasya and Emaar.

The official address is Atatürk Mahallesi, Ataşehir Bulvarı, Ertuğrul Gazi Sokak, 34758 Ataşehir/İstanbul; enquiries are on +90 536 032 67 24. Save the shopping centre’s address rather than only a tower in the complex, agreeing a particular entrance for arrival or meeting family.

Published mall hours are 10:00–22:00 every day, read on 28 October 2026. Cinema and performances have separate hours and programmes. Shop closing is neither your activity’s automatic finish nor the last service home.

2️⃣ Shops, floors and a workable shopping list

The official directory read on 28 October 2026 uses Zemin Kat for ground, 1.Kat for first and 2.Kat for second, plus P1. Retain the displayed floor label. These examples help group purchases; they do not guarantee stock, size or a discount.

Begin with the item needing a fitting or advice, then gifts and lighter purchases. For devices, compare model, accessories and warranty in your country of use; consider homeware size, weight and packaging. Ask the retailer about exchanges, receipts and Tax Free participation if relevant; eligibility is not automatic for every purchase.

3️⃣ Food and coffee along your route

Food is spread across floors. First-floor options include Burger King, Pidem, Popeyes and Green Salads; second has Big Chef’s, Midpoint, The House Cafe and The Hunger, alongside Quick China and Shake Shack. Choosing a break near the next activity reduces retracing your steps.

The directory places Starbucks, Kahve Dünyası and Tchibo on second, with Craft Coffee and Beylerbeyi Muhallebicisi on ground. Inspect the menu and total with drinks and extras, discussing allergies and dietary requirements directly. No dated menu established here supports a uniform meal average.

Before a film or performance, allow for ordering, payment and reaching the venue as well as eating. A break between shopping and children’s play may work better than consecutive activities without rest.

4️⃣ Hupalupa: ages, prices and the card

HUPALUPA is listed on first, with operator enquiries on +90 850 255 55 88. Its official FAQ read on 28 October 2026 states that general entry has no fee: games use a prepaid card, deducting the credits for each activity. Entry without a charge does not make games free or turn one top-up into access to everything.

The following prices were displayed at the 28 October 2026 reading, rather than guaranteed for a later visit. Choose activity, category and duration before topping up and confirm the total. The operator states that unused credits cannot be refunded and have no stated expiry; load for a realistic plan rather than more than you need.

For Miniplay ages 0–4, one adult must accompany the child and enters free, with socks required and shoes removed. Treat this as accompanied play rather than childcare while shopping elsewhere. Trampoline Park advertises 7+ for its regular category; its rules also describe special sessions for ages 4–6 with an adult paying the normal session fee. Confirm their timing and availability.

Trampoline use requires silicone grip socks. Its rules display 85 TRY to buy them when needed, read on 28 October 2026; you may bring suitable socks you already own. Ask staff about activity requirements and suitability: eligibility for one unit does not establish eligibility for every unit.

Trampoline Park7+ regular category60 minutes800

5️⃣ Cinematica, DasDas and offers

The current directory names CINEMATICA on second. Its page displays 10:00–00:00 hours at the 28 October 2026 reading, extending beyond shop hours. Check the branch, screening, spoken or dubbed language, subtitles, age classification and seat before paying. An older cinema name or another branch’s price is insufficient for your booking.

DasDas is on second, with the mall page displaying 10:00–01:00, but each performance needs its own date, ticket and terms. The mall page showing no current play at the reading does not establish that the venue has stopped operating: inspect the operator’s programme for your date. Plan food and the return around doors and start time, checking late admission, cancellation and accessibility.

The mall’s offers page displayed no current offer at the reading. App publicity does not grant a general discount: check dates, products, minimum spend and activation. No cinema or DasDas tariff was established here, so no estimate is supplied. The directory also lists PUUFU on second and Papara Supermassive Gamer Hub on ground; ask about activity, category and price without assuming inclusion on the Hupalupa card.

6️⃣ Transport: Mevlana on M8 and the final approach

The mall FAQ identifies Mevlana on M8 Bostancı–Parseller as a nearby option, estimating a 10–12-minute walk. This is the mall’s estimate rather than a guaranteed duration or verified indoor connection. Examine the exit, crossings, gradients and actual route; with a pushchair or wheelchair, confirm lifts and a suitable entrance on your day.

Metro Istanbul confirms Mevlana among M8 stations. Arriving on M4, compare changing at Kozyatağı to M8 towards Mevlana with a suitable onward bus to the address. Choose train direction from the current network plan, allowing for platforms and the last stretch rather than train time alone.

The mall FAQ names Ataşehir Plazalar and Ataşehir Atatürk Mahallesi stops, with examples including 14ŞB and 19EK from Kadıköy and 16M from Üsküdar. Check direction, stops and times on your day. The contact page also gives a general M5 heading without an arrival station or final leg; do not interpret it as a station connected to the mall.

For a car or taxi, use the shopping centre’s address and agree a point at a particular entrance; no fare or driving time is established here. Save your return before play or a performance, checking the last service separately from cinema closing.

7️⃣ Parking, services and a visit plan

The mall FAQ read on 28 October 2026 states that the first three parking hours are free, with charges afterwards. Obtain the current tariff from entrance signs or information; this does not make valet, charging or extras free. Count from entry: shopping, a meal and an hour’s play can exceed the free period.

The service directory locates information, pushchairs and wheelchairs on ground, a baby-care room and accessible toilet on second, ATMs on P1 and valet on first. The FAQ directs pushchair rental enquiries to EasyPoint. Confirm stock, identification or deposit, charges and return conditions; the listing does not promise an immediately available wheelchair or free use of every item.

Begin with two or three essential shops, then a break and an age-suitable activity. Around three to four hours for shopping, food and one activity is an optional allowance adjusted for queues and travel, rather than an official duration. Leave groceries and heavy purchases until departure, saving the car’s level and zone and a clear meeting point.

Separate shopping, food, games or tickets, transport, parking and services in the budget. If accessibility is essential, ask for a continuous route from entrance to lift, venue and toilet; facilities inside do not establish the whole journey from your hotel. Confirm pet admission and the branch’s policy beforehand, since stores and restaurants may differ.
