Ihlamur Pavilion Gardens in Istanbul: Visiting, Tickets and Transport
The Ihlamur gardens in Beşiktaş combine green space with two historic Ottoman pavilions. This National Palaces site has managed visiting and ticket arrangements; check what a garden ticket covers separately from an interior visit.

1️⃣ Location and transport

Ihlamur Pavilions are in Türkali Mahallesi, Hakkı Yeten Caddesi No. 1, Beşiktaş. Ihlamur on the map. Choose your transport and account for the final walk; verify the entrance rather than assuming it is beside every stop.

2️⃣ Garden and pavilions

According to National Palaces, the Ceremonial and Retinue pavilions were built under Sultan Abdülmecid. Enjoy the garden and façades from permitted areas, and check which rooms are open and what your ticket covers; garden admission does not automatically include all interiors.

3️⃣ Tickets and hours

On 30 October 2026 the operator’s page displayed the following Turkish-lira rates. Confirm categories, required evidence and garden-ticket conditions at purchase, as tariffs can change.
Ticket categoryPublished price
Pavilions, domestic visitor100 TL
Pavilions, foreign visitor280 TL
Discount ticket50 TL; check eligibility
Gardens60 TL
The operator lists Monday as closed and ticket-office hours of 09:00–17:00. Garden hours may differ seasonally or on holidays, so confirm the day’s schedule and last entry before travelling.

4️⃣ A practical visit

Start with open garden paths and allow time for the pavilion if your ticket and visitor arrangements permit. Follow preservation and photography signs and stay out of closed sections. Old photographs do not establish the garden’s current appearance.

5️⃣ Families and facilities

Ask staff about steps, toilets and routes suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs. Supervise children around paths and water, and check café availability and prices rather than assuming service.

6️⃣ Before you go

Check weather, notices, tickets and holiday arrangements, budgeting separately for transport and parking. The operator lists telephone 0212 259 50 86 for enquiries; confirm rules and hours before visiting.
