İzmir Optimum: Practical Shopping in Gaziemir​

İzmir Optimum is a shopping and entertainment centre on Akçay Caddesi in Gaziemir. It offers varied shops, cafés and restaurants with open terraces. A visit can bring several purchases into one outing, with a break before returning to your accommodation.

Set your aim before arriving: travel clothing, family gifts or comparing alternatives for a particular item. Check the directory for a specific shop and identify essential stops before browsing other windows. This helps particularly with limited luggage space or a busy itinerary.

Management gives İzmir Optimum Alışveriş ve Eğlence Merkezi, Akçay Cad. No:101, Gaziemir–İzmir, with support on 444 87 80. Select İzmir rather than Optimum in Istanbul, Ankara or Adana; branches have different shops and services.

The expansion was checked on 29 October 2026. Decathlon’s official İzmir Optimum page lists 10–22 throughout the week for that branch. Visit İzmir gives different hours, and the mall contact page did not establish uniform facility hours. Confirm the centre and activity, particularly holidays, rather than treating conflicting guides as a guaranteed appointment.

Shops and floors for clothing, sport and home​

Start with purchases needing fitting or testing, such as clothes and shoes, then move to items already decided. Try the actual size where possible and read fabric care instructions: something attractive on display may require different care or use from what you expect.

When buying a gift, keep the required size and colour details. Ask about exchanges at that branch and the documents needed; one brand’s procedures do not apply to every shop. Read promotion terms for the particular product you intend to buy.

The directory places Burger King, McDonald’s, Tavuk Dünyası and Green Salads on 2, Kahve Dünyası and Özsüt on ground, and Kahve Diyarı on 1. Agree the name and level for meeting, comparing indoor or terrace seating with weather and availability.

Check menu, final total, drink, extras, portions, allergens and children’s ingredients before ordering. Terraces do not mean every restaurant is outdoors or seating guaranteed. Allow queues, payment and transfer time before a film or bowling.

The directory names Paribu Cineverse on 2. Kat, with 0850 220 09 67. Choose İzmir Optimum, date, film, session, spoken/subtitled language, classification and seat rather than a programme at another centre with the same brand.

Play Bowling is on 2 with 0533 603 91 78, while Playland is on 2 with 0530 940 39 64. For bowling ask whether charging is per person, lane or duration and about shoes. For games ask about age, height, socks, supervision, accompanying adults and credit coverage.

No current tariffs were established in the opened pages; no all-inclusive ticket or general free offer is assumed. Older guides mention skating and free playgrounds: confirm operation, location and scope before making them the purpose of travelling, and do not equate them with Playland.

Arriving by İZBAN and returning​

Esbaş station on the İZBAN network provides access to the centre. From the metro, change to İZBAN at Halkapınar or Hilal, then alight at Esbaş.

Save the station and centre names together on your phone and check train direction and the updated route before setting out. The mall’s official address is Akçay Caddesi No:101, Gaziemir. By car, approach via the Gaziemir route or Akçay Caddesi, using navigation from your starting point.

The current contact page confirms Esbaş with transfers at Halkapınar or Hilal, and describes vehicles along Akçay towards Adnan Menderes Airport, alighting at Esbaş. Check actual vehicle, direction, platform and final route for your day; no exit number, fixed walk or fare is established here.

With a pushchair or limited mobility, check lifts and crossings to the entrance and your return. On a flight day account for luggage, airport arrival and procedures before shopping; geographical proximity guarantees no short car journey.

Family services, access and parking​

The services page advertises free use through a form and includes Bebek Arabası pushchair handover/use terms. Confirm availability, collection, return and conditions with management; a form or listing does not guarantee an available pushchair on arrival.

Ask information to identify care rooms, children’s toilets, lifts, an accessible route and wheelchair loans if needed; current locations and terms were not established by the text read. Allow care time and agree a family meeting point.
