Gaziantep and Şanlıurfa hotels: historic inns and modern stays
A visit to Gaziantep and Şanlıurfa combines food, markets and historic sights, but even a short trip can become tiring if every outing means reorganising the car and luggage. Separate two decisions: which city you will sleep in each night, and what type of accommodation you need there. A historic inn offers a different atmosphere from a modern hotel, while an apartment with a kitchen can meet a family's needs on a longer stay. The following Gaziantep options show that distinction, followed by a modern base in Şanlıurfa.
Divan Gaziantep: look for “with kitchen”

In Şehitkamil on Sani Konukoğlu Bulvarı, with the historic centre described by the hotel as roughly four kilometres away. Compare driving access and parking rather than expecting a room among old-town lanes.

There is a 56 m² one-bedroom apartment category, including a specifically named Tek Yatak Odalı Mutfaklı Apart Daire with a kitchen. Mutfaklı is the crucial word: “Apart” alone does not confirm a kitchen. Ask which appliances, cookware and tableware are provided if you intend to prepare proper meals.

Standard rooms are listed at 24 m² and one-bedroom suites at 54 m². Extra space does not establish bed numbers or permission for five guests. The hotel advertises complimentary parking and Wi-Fi, an indoor pool and spa; check the inclusions of your chosen offer.

Şirehan: a historic inn in Gaziantep

In Alaybey, Şahinbey, this historic inn gives a stay a different character from a modern hotel tower. Consider it when the building's atmosphere and outings around the old city are part of the experience you want.

The Standard category is advertised for two adults, with air conditioning, a safe, kettle and internet; a cot is also listed among room facilities. A cot is not a bed suitable for a teenager. Ask about the permitted age, dimensions and final occupancy.

In a heritage building, request the floor, stair count and route from the entrance to the bathroom, especially when travelling with older people. Attractive room photographs do not establish private parking, a lift or a pool. Confirm the car drop-off and luggage assistance, then include ease of arrival in your value comparison.

Nevali Şanlıurfa: the right suite for your city itinerary

On Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Bulvarı in Haliliye, this is a modern base in Şanlıurfa. Plot Balıklıgöl, the markets and excursion destinations when calculating transport rather than relying on the city name in the address.

The suites page advertises 55–85 m² with a living area. Request the exact suite name and plan. The Royal Suite shown in the photograph does not mean every “Suite” offer has the same furniture and space.

The hotel advertises open and covered parking, Wi-Fi, spa and fitness facilities, and indoor and outdoor pools. Check seasonal operation when booking. An accessible room is available as a category, but door and bathroom dimensions require confirmation. Ask about airport-transfer prices and conditions rather than assuming the service is free.

A comparison to guide your choice
| Your need | Category or approach to compare |

| A heritage-building experience | Şirehan, after checking stairs and access |
| A modern Şanlıurfa base | A Nevali suite with a confirmed layout |
Booking details worth confirming
For a two-city trip: Do not change hotels merely for a brief visit elsewhere without comparing driving time with the sightseeing time left. Divide nights around the itinerary and keep departure morning light instead of combining a long excursion with check-out.

If restaurants are the reason for travelling, hotel dinner may be a lower priority. Compare breakfast-only and meal packages while preserving the freedom to go out. A kitchen becomes more useful with children and several nights if it is adequately equipped.

Ask for the total for every guest, including breakfast, parking and extra beds. A two-person room price is not the cost of a whole family.
