Follow open paths and choose a suitable place to rest. Paths and facilities can change; follow signs and barriers.
An older municipal description recorded an approximately four-kilometre wooden waterfront path along the Haymana road shore, with viewing terraces and benches, as well as an island reached by suspension bridges, play areas and sports courts. Check which sections are open and usable; the historical description does not establish their current length or condition.
A 2020 municipal report described the Sevgi Island project within the park for growing and displaying the local sevgi flower (Centaurea tchihatcheffii), a plant associated with the Gölbaşı area. Do not assume the island is accessible or the flowers are in bloom; check its location and conditions before including it in your visit.
Other parks surround the lake; identify Mogan Park itself rather than assuming neighbouring waterfront facilities belong to it.
