Kültürpark in İzmir: Gardens, Exhibitions, Location and Planning a Visit
Kültürpark is a central İzmir green space associated with the history of the İzmir International Fair and home to visitor spaces and events. It is distinct from Kültürpark in Konya; check the city when looking up directions.
Location and access
The park is in Konak, İzmir. Find Kültürpark on the map and select the gate nearest your destination. The municipality announced a midnight to 6 a.m. closure for maintenance starting in November 2024; confirm that the schedule remains in force and check gate notices before visiting. Check public transport, the appropriate exit and your return time before leaving.
Nature and culture
Plan a walk among trees, paths and open spaces. The municipality lists cultural and sports facilities, a theatre and a museum within the area. Each has its own programme, and exhibitions or maintenance can affect access. The city lists Montrö, Lozan and 9 Eylül among the gates; check which entrance is open and convenient. One 2026 programme is the Kültürpark at 90 exhibition in the Pakistan Pavilion, announced through 31 December; confirm its hours and availability before visiting.
