Hasanağa Garden in Buca, İzmir: Walking, Location and Planning a Visit
Hasanağa Bahçesi is a historic green space in Buca, İzmir, described in 2025 as covering about 96,000 square metres. Visitors can plan a local walk or a break among the trees. İzmir Municipality announced completed improvements in March 2025; check the present condition of facilities before planning an activity.
Location and access
The garden is in Buca, İzmir. Find Hasanağa Garden on the map, then select an entrance and compare buses and return transport from your starting point. Check actual service before leaving.
Space and activity
The improvements announced in 2025 included walking paths, maintenance of sports courts and the running track, a rearranged skating area, planting, lighting and seating. A sports-equipment station also opened; at the time, the municipality said equipment could be borrowed free by showing an identity card. Before visiting, check whether it operates, its hours, available equipment and current borrowing conditions. Follow signs and supervise children at play.

Costs and facilities
Current park admission or surrounding service prices have not been verified. Budget separately for transport, food and parking, and ask about toilets and routes suitable for strollers and wheelchairs.
Families and weather
Bring water and comfortable shoes and follow maintenance notices or temporary closures. Choose a suitable time in hot weather and keep an eye on children.
Before you go
Check site hours and your return route; do not assume that a metro station bearing the garden’s name is operating until you verify its opening and service.
