Using e-Nabız in Türkiye 2026: Access, Test Results and Medical Reports for Foreign Nationals

e-Nabız is the Ministry of Health’s personal health record system. It lets patients view health information transmitted by participating services and manage access to that record. It can be useful for foreign residents receiving treatment in Türkiye.

Records may include consultations, diagnoses, prescriptions, laboratory results, radiology, pathology, discharge summaries and certain reports or optical and medical-device records. Availability depends on the issuing institution, identity matching, approval and transmission; the system does not guarantee that every record appears immediately.

1️⃣ Access for foreign nationals

Normal personal access requires an eligible Turkish-issued foreign identity number and the appropriate authenticated account. Depending on the person’s status, accepted documents may include residence, work, temporary or international protection, or stateless-person documents. The identity details in the health records must match those used to sign in.

A tourist without the required identity and account arrangements may need to obtain results directly from the treating facility. Do not assume that a passport-only consultation will automatically appear in a later account.

2️⃣ Obtaining e-Government access

Eligible foreign nationals can obtain an e-Government password through authorised PTT or Türksat offices using the required identity and status documents. The accepted documents vary; a valid work permit with a passport, for example, is among the documented routes.

Change a temporary password promptly and keep your mobile number current. Check the official e-Government access FAQ before visiting an office.

Seeking assistance with an application

3️⃣ Signing in for the first time

  1. Open e-Government and search for the Ministry of Health e-Nabız Personal Health System.
  2. Alternatively, use the official e-Nabız website or app and select e-Devlet ile Giriş.
  3. Authenticate with your foreign identity number and the supported e-Government method.
  4. Read the terms and complete the required consent or account steps.
  5. Check your telephone number and other contact details.
  6. Review the privacy and sharing settings.
  7. Open the relevant record section and confirm that the displayed patient details are yours.

4️⃣ If you do not use an e-Government password

The official help describes an alternative through your registered family doctor and a password sent to the mobile number recorded by the doctor. Ask the family doctor or official support about the route available to you; it still depends on valid identity and contact records.

5️⃣ The main record sections

Ziyaretlerim — My visits: View recorded visits by date, institution and specialty and open their details. If an entry is not yours, use the available Bu İşlem Bana Ait Değil reporting function and contact the institution where necessary.

Tahlillerim — My laboratory tests: View transmitted results, reference ranges and, where available, trends or graphs. A red or out-of-range value is not a diagnosis by itself: interpretation depends on the clinical context and the laboratory method.

Radyolojik Görüntülerim — My radiological images: Access available images and reports through the relevant radiology or teleradiology functions, including X-rays, CT, MRI and ultrasound where supplied.

Reçetelerim — My prescriptions: Check recorded medicines, instructions, quantity and dispensing information. Depending on the record, you may also see optical or medical-device prescriptions, medicine leaflets and a prescription QR code.

Raporlarım — My reports: View transmitted reports, which may include medicine, medical supply or device, sick-leave or medical-board reports. Not every report type appears through the same enquiry route.

Epikriz Bilgilerim — My discharge summaries: View available inpatient summaries describing diagnosis, treatment and discharge information. Download or print a PDF where the system provides that option.

6️⃣ Sharing records with a doctor

Use the record-sharing function to select the information, recipient and period of access. Depending on the function, the recipient may use a link and access code. Review when access expires and revoke it when appropriate.

Sharing selected information is preferable to handing over your account password. Never share e-Government credentials or one-time login codes.

7️⃣ Children’s records

Parents can access their children’s linked e-Nabız records without an additional approval as a general legal rule, subject to verified identity and family records. A child with the capacity to make this decision may make parental access conditional on the child’s permission.

During divorce proceedings, access belongs to the parent granted interim custody; after divorce, to the custodial parent. A non-custodial parent may apply to the responsible General Directorate, which assesses the request and may share limited health information stripped of location, address and contact details concerning the child or custodial parent.

If the child is missing, check identity, family relationship and custody records. Ask official support about any additional on-screen requirement; do not share passwords or assume the other parent’s consent is required in every case.

8️⃣ Privacy and account security

  • Use your own current mobile number and enable available additional security checks.
  • Keep passwords and SMS codes private.
  • Review sharing permissions and remove access that is no longer needed.
  • Sign out on shared devices and avoid saving credentials on public computers.
  • Use official links and check the publisher of the app.
Account freezing or closure functions, where available through e-Government, do not necessarily erase clinical records held by the original hospital or Ministry systems. See the Ministry’s e-Nabız personal health record information for the service’s data arrangements.

9️⃣ If a result or report does not appear

The institution may not have transmitted it, the result may await validation, or it may be attached to a passport or different identity record. Technical delays and incorrect identity details can also cause problems.

Start with the issuing facility: ask whether the record is finalised, which identity number it uses and whether it was sent. Patients cannot directly rewrite a clinical result. For account or navigation problems, use official e-Nabız help.

1️⃣0️⃣ Help with record navigation

The Ministry’s e-Nabız user manual explains the current record sections, prescriptions, reports, sharing and family functions. A missing or incomplete online record should not delay necessary medical follow-up.

1️⃣1️⃣ Reassessing an earlier diagnosis and correcting records

The amendment effective on 4 July 2026 introduced a route to reassess an earlier diagnosis against the person’s current health. Apply to a healthcare provider: a diagnosis made by one doctor is reviewed by a three-doctor board; a board diagnosis requires review by a full medical board.

If the resulting report finds that the diagnosis is no longer present, the current report governs relevant decisions, subject to any specific legislation. This is a clinical and administrative process, not automatic deletion of medical history or a self-editing function. A record created in error follows a separate correction route: start with the issuing provider and contact the provincial health directorate where needed.
