Where is Marmara Forum, and who is it for?
**Marmara Forum** is a shopping centre in Osmaniye, Bakırköy, on Istanbul’s European side. Its address is **Osmaniye Mahallesi, Çobançeşme Koşuyolu Bulvarı No:3, Bakırköy**. Enter the complete name in navigation: “Forum” alone can lead to Forum Istanbul, a different centre with its own article and different transport route. Marmara Forum also does not mean Marmara Park.
It suits visitors combining clothing, sportswear, toys and home shopping with a meal or film. Home and appliance stores do not make every purchase suitable for travel: separate portable items from goods requiring delivery or warranty support in your country of use. This is a shopping centre with several activities; do not assume every store is an outlet or cheaper than elsewhere in the city.
The guidance below uses official information read on **28 October 2026**. Information can be reached on **+90 212 466 64 53** or **[email protected]**. Use these for a specific facility question or wheelchair arrival arrangements before leaving, rather than assuming one desk books every business in the centre.
Metro, Metrobus and the final part of the journey
The centre’s stated route is **M1A Yenikapı–Atatürk Havalimanı to Zeytinburnu**, followed by **Çobançeşme Koşuyolu** towards the mall. Atatürk Airport is the branch’s terminal name; this is not a direct route to today’s Istanbul Airport. Check that you board **M1A**: M1B branches towards Kirazlı and does not continue to Zeytinburnu.
| Transport | Alighting or interchange point | Next step |
|---|---|---|
| M1A | Zeytinburnu | Follow the pedestrian route towards Çobançeşme Koşuyolu and the centre; this is not a promise of a platform-side entrance |
| M2 from its corridor | Yenikapı, then M1A towards Atatürk Havalimanı | Alight at Zeytinburnu and complete the final section above |
| Marmaray | Change at Yenikapı to M1A | Do not confuse the Marmaray station named Zeytinburnu with the metro/Metrobus point described here |
| T1 | Zeytinburnu | Continue towards the centre; the transport operator confirms a T1/M1A interchange here |
| Metrobus | Zeytinburnu | The mall directs passengers along Çobançeşme Koşuyolu afterwards; choose a service stopping here |
| Bus | Fildamı Yolu or İbni Sina İlkokulu | Find a current service to the stop and check the return direction before boarding |
The official page identifies those two bus stops, but a list of route numbers would not mean every service runs from your starting point or retains the same timetable. Neither a numbered metro exit nor a reliable door-to-door walking time was established. Open pedestrian navigation at the station and use public crossings and paths instead of shortcuts through vehicle entrances. If the outdoor section or pavements do not suit your mobility needs, arrange a car to an entrance identified with information beforehand.
Shops and a practical floor plan
These are selected examples from the official directory, not a complete store list or stock guarantee. **Zemin Kat** on Turkish signs means ground floor, distinct from the first floor.
| Shopping aim | Named examples and official floor | Useful check before paying |
|---|---|---|
| Clothing | Boyner, Benetton and Avva on first; Bershka on second | Fit, exchange terms and whether you can return during your trip |
| Sportswear | Adidas on second | Try the size; another brand’s sizing may differ |
| Home appliances | Arçelik and Bosch on ground | Electrical specification, warranty, delivery and weight; a discount alone does not make a large appliance a sensible travel purchase |
| DIY and home improvements | Bauhaus in B Blok | Confirm the section is in Block B and plan how purchases will travel |
| Children’s toys and gifts | Armağan Oyuncak on second | Recommended age, batteries and box size in your luggage |
| Optical goods and accessories | Atasun Optik on second; Atasay on first | Product details, invoice and after-sales support without assuming coverage abroad |
Start with purchases needing fittings, then gifts, leaving heavy goods until last. Photograph the floor and parking area when you arrive. Larger groups should agree a specific meeting point and time rather than “by the lift”. A directory listing establishes neither a general discount nor availability of a particular model; contact the shop if that item is the reason for your journey.
Food and cafés: choose a break near your route
The food directory lists **Arby’s, Burger King, Baydöner, Bursa Kebap Evi, Dürümle and Green Salads on the third floor**. It also places **Big Chefs on the second**, **Balkon Cafe & restaurant and Boston Donuts on the first**, and **Alaçatı Muhallebicisi and Çeşme Kahve on the ground floor**, according to the entries read.
For a meal during clothing shopping, group the shops you need before going up to the third floor. For coffee between tasks on a lower level, choose a nearby place instead of repeatedly crossing the centre. These examples help locate options; they are not quality ratings or promises of seating or reservations.
No standard meal price or reliable per-person food budget was established. Read the branch menu before ordering and check portion, drink and extras. Ask the restaurant directly about allergens or dietary needs: a salad offering or Turkish restaurant name does not establish that every dish meets your requirements.
Cinema, bowling and children
The cinema currently linked by the official mall website is **World Cinezone on the third floor**. Its operator website displays a dated current programme. Do not rely on Cinemaximum or Paribu names in older guides to identify the operator or buy tickets. Select the Marmara Forum branch, day, film and session, then check dubbing, subtitles, age classification and seat before paying.
The entertainment category also lists **Play Bowling on third, Magic Play and Muzip Toys on second, and Ahtapot Eğlence Merkezi on ground**. These are identified businesses, not confirmation that all are free or suitable for every age. Ask the operator whether charging is per game, time period or card, and whether accompanying adults, socks or reservations are required. No common price or admission rule was established.
The services directory separately lists a **free children’s play area**. Do not equate it with the commercial entertainment businesses or assume staff supervision or permission to leave a child alone. Check age suitability, rules and opening times on arrival and remain close to your child. Set an activity budget before passing toy shops and include food or a rest in the visit.
For a late film, establish the exit route to the car park or street and your return transport before the screening. Round-the-clock parking does not establish that every shopping entrance remains open after22:00.
Hours, parking, costs and facilities
| Item | Established by official reading on 28 October2026 | Scope and limits |
|---|---|---|
| Mall hours | 10:00–22:00 | Special announcements may affect visits; do not apply these hours to every screening |
| Parking | Free covered parking; open24/7 | This does not promise free charging, washing or unrestricted long-term storage |
| Children’s service play area | A free area is listed | This does not automatically include Magic Play, bowling or another commercial activity |
| Cinema and activities | Separate businesses/operators | Current prices were not established; select the actual session or activity for its price |
| Vehicle charging and car wash | Both services listed | Tariffs and terms were not established; they are not automatically included in free parking |
When driving, use **Marmara Forum otopark** as the navigation destination, follow entrance signs and save the parking level and zone. The published services include family parking, vehicle charging and bicycle parking; these do not reserve a space or guarantee a vacant charger when you arrive.
Family facilities listed include baby-care rooms, pushchairs, lockers, rest areas, a prayer room, pharmacy and first-aid point. Accessibility-related listings include **wheelchairs and an ATM area for disabled visitors**. Ask information about collection, availability and conditions, and the route from your entrance. A service list does not prove a fully step-free journey or the status of lifts that day. No deposit or booking tariff for wheelchairs or pushchairs was established, so do not assume every loan is free.
Two practical ways to organise a visit
**A focused shopping visit:** choose three shops and record sizes or product dimensions before leaving. On arrival, identify your return route, then begin with fitting-dependent shops on the first and second floors. Take a break where you finish the first part. Leave toys or heavy home purchases until last and check invoices and bag count before leaving. You do not need to visit every floor for a useful trip.
**A family visit with an activity:** first identify child facilities and a meeting point, then complete one essential purchase before entertainment. Choose between play, bowling or a film according to age, language and budget; combining all three increases movement and spending. Place a meal between shopping and the activity and allow time to collect belongings and return to the car or station. These are suggested sequences, not event schedules or visit durations guaranteed by the centre.
Questions before setting out
Is Marmara Forum the same as Forum Istanbul?
No. This article concerns Marmara Forum in Osmaniye/Bakırköy. Do not substitute Kocatepe directions for this centre’s address.
Does the metro reach the door directly?
The official route says to alight at Zeytinburnu and follow Çobançeşme Koşuyolu. This is not confirmation of an internal passage or a particular walking time.
Is parking paid?
The services list calls the covered parking free, and the contact page gives24/7 operation in the dated reading. Check entrance notices for special conditions; do not invent charges or include additional vehicle services in the free offer.
Does every children’s activity require a ticket?
A free service play area is listed alongside separate entertainment businesses. Check the precise activity, price and age requirements before promising it to a child.
Are all films in English?
A title cannot establish this. Read language, subtitles and classification for your selected session at World Cinezone Marmara Forum.
Can I use a wheelchair?
Wheelchair provision is listed, but availability, collection route and access from transport should be arranged with information for your needs. This reading alone cannot guarantee a continuous accessible outdoor route.
Are prices fixed or discounts guaranteed?
No. Stock, invoices and promotions depend on shop, product and date. Set a spending limit and compare the final price rather than the discount percentage alone.
