Zağnos Valley in Trabzon: walking, adventure activities and planning a visit
Zağnos Valley is an urban walking area around the historic walls of Trabzon and Zağnos Bridge, with an adventure and play area. Treat a walk through the valley and use of its attractions as separate activities: each facility may have conditions or pause for maintenance or weather.
Getting there
Open the Zağnos Valley map and check the appropriate entrance. The most useful approach depends on your transport. Plan the trip and return in advance, especially with children or a stroller.
What to find
The completed project includes a hillside slide, swings, net play, a rope course and zip line among the completed installations. This is a project description, not a guarantee that every attraction operates today. Check the rules and status before queuing or paying.
A flexible visit
Begin on open paths near the bridge and walls, following permitted routes without climbing the historic walls. Valley ground surfaces were renewed in 2025; check which paths are open today. Fees and hours
No current admission price or schedule for each area has been confirmed. Individual activity charges may differ from access to the public space; ask the operator about tickets, prices and restrictions, particularly during holidays.
Families and access
Supervise children around play equipment and follow staff instructions. Ask in advance about wheelchair and stroller routes and toilets; do not assume all activities suit every age.
