Türk Yıldızları Park in Konya: Aviation, Walking and Planning a Visit
Türk Yıldızları Park is an aviation-themed green space on Ankara Road in Konya. Its original design combined aircraft displays with walking paths and landscaped water. Check what remains accessible and operating before travelling; a historical project announcement does not guarantee today’s facilities.
Location and transport
Find Türk Yıldızları Park on the map and choose the entrance and route from your starting point. Check the final walking section, return transport and parking; the map identifies the park but does not confirm a particular entrance.
Aviation theme
The 2015 project description included two NF-5 display aircraft in oval pools and an A300 passenger aircraft intended as a restaurant. The park opened on 16 April 2016 with an aerobatic team display. These are historical details, not a guarantee that the aircraft remain in place or the restaurant is open today. If displays are accessible, observe them from permitted areas and check aircraft-entry arrangements. The similarly named display in Samsun is a different place.
Walk and family plan
| Stage | Suggestion |
|---|---|
| Arrival | Confirm the entrance, weather and return transport. |
| Park walk | Follow open paths and view any accessible displays. |
| Break | Check whether the facility you choose is open and what it charges. |
| Return | Allow time for traffic and the journey back. |
Activities and costs
Ask the operator about current entrance, parking and activity prices, and about any separate restaurant charges. No current park tariff or operating schedule is verified here. On 5 June 2026, schoolchildren took part in a park clean-up for World Environment Day; this was a dated event, not a recurring visitor schedule.
Families and accessibility
Supervise children near water, paths and aircraft barriers. Ask about wheelchair and stroller routes, toilets and current play-area access; availability can change.
Before you go
Check current opening arrangements, weather and any maintenance. Bring water and sun protection as appropriate, and follow posted instructions around exhibits.
