Played from 12 to 15 December 2025, round 16 produced 23 goals in nine matches and important developments at both ends of the table. Galatasaray stayed top, Fenerbahçe maintained the chase, and the battles for European places and survival remained closely contested.
Kasımpaşa 0–0 Gençlerbirliği
A balanced draw did little to improve either side's position, leaving both within reach of the danger zone towards the bottom of the table.
Çaykur Rizespor 3–0 Eyüpspor
Rizespor combined a productive attack with a clean sheet. The convincing win provided a welcome lift in the effort to move away from the lower reaches, while adding to Eyüpspor's difficulties.
Kayserispor 0–0 Alanyaspor
A cautious encounter ended goalless. Kayserispor remained under pressure near the relegation places, while another draw reinforced the pattern of Alanyaspor's season.
Antalyaspor 1–4 Galatasaray
The leaders demonstrated their strength away from home with an emphatic victory. Four goals consolidated first place and kept Galatasaray among the league's most productive attacking sides.
Gaziantep FK 0–1 Göztepe
Göztepe's impressive campaign continued with a valuable away win that kept them fourth. Gaziantep, meanwhile, lost ground in the contest for positions around mid-table.
Fatih Karagümrük 1–1 Kocaelispor
For bottom-placed Karagümrük, this felt more like two points dropped than one gained. Kocaelispor could regard the away point as a useful contribution to their mid-table position.
Samsunspor 0–2 İstanbul Başakşehir
Başakşehir secured an important away victory and moved towards greater security in the standings. Samsunspor missed an opportunity to climb further up the table.
Trabzonspor 3–3 Beşiktaş
The round's standout spectacle!
Fenerbahçe 4–0 Konyaspor
Fenerbahçe answered Galatasaray's win with a commanding attacking display at home. The victory preserved their unbeaten league record and kept the gap to the leaders at just three points.
- 1st — Galatasaray, 39 points: Twelve wins, a potent attack and a solid defence underpinned their lead and strong recent form.
- 2nd — Fenerbahçe, 36 points: Unbeaten after 16 matches, they continued to apply pressure and waited for an opening from their traditional rivals.
- 3rd — Trabzonspor, 35 points: The dramatic draw with Beşiktaş still left them firmly within reach of first place.
- 4th — Göztepe, 29 points: One of the season's surprise packages, they combined organisation in defence and attack to establish a credible challenge for European places.
- 5th — Beşiktaş, 26 points: Attacking quality was accompanied by defensive concerns, especially in demanding away fixtures against major opponents.
- 6th — Samsunspor, 25 points: Despite this setback, a good season left them clear of immediate danger and with scope to challenge for a higher position.
- 16th — Kayserispor: 14 points
- 17th — Eyüpspor: 13 points
- 18th — Fatih Karagümrük: 9 points
