Kabataş is a useful arrival point for the Dolmabahçe area. From there, continue on foot towards the stadium, following the route to the entrance shown on your ticket.
| Starting point | Usual route |
|---|---|
| Taksim | Take the F1 funicular from Taksim to Kabataş, then walk towards Dolmabahçe and the stadium |
| Sultanahmet, Sirkeci, Eminönü or Karaköy | Take the T1 tram towards Kabataş, then continue on foot |
| Areas served by the M2 | Get off at Taksim and change to the F1 for Kabataş |
These are the usual network routes at the time of writing. Check the final’s specific travel instructions when published, as designated pedestrian routes or transport changes may apply around the stadium.
Beşiktaş and Kabataş are useful starting points for accommodation searches close to the stadium area. Taksim offers the F1 connection, while Karaköy and Sirkeci are linked by the T1.
Compare the actual walk from the hotel to the station, the ease of getting back after the match and the cancellation terms. A cancellable booking provides flexibility while you wait for a match ticket and confirmation of event arrangements.

- 1 June: Arrive in Istanbul, check in to your accommodation and familiarise yourself with the route to the stadium.
- 2 June: Set aside the day for the match. Reach the area early, allowing for the gate-opening time announced by the organisers.
- 3 June: Travel home or extend your stay to explore the city, depending on your flight.
Build your budget around the match ticket, flights, two nights’ accommodation, transport and food. Allow enough time to get back after the final: a draw may lead to two periods of extra time and then a penalty shoot-out.
Before matchday: Check your entrance number, gate-opening time, ticket and identity requirements, baggage rules and transport options after the final whistle.
