An account alias, not a new account
KOLAS connects an existing account to an alias. It does not open an account or remove identity checks. Supported identifiers may include phone, email, TCKN, VKN, YKN or passport number, depending on the provider and customer record. One alias is linked to one account at a time. A later link to another account replaces the previous one. Different aliases can point to the same account under the service rules.

Review supported identifiers
| Identifier | Check | Update when |
|---|---|---|
| Phone number | The number is correct and belongs to you | It changes or is cancelled |
| Email address | Spelling and control of the address | The address changes |
| Identity, tax or foreigner number | It matches the bank’s record | Customer information is updated |
| Passport number | Support and correct number | The passport changes under bank procedures |
Set up the link and receive payments
Give the sender the correct identifier and ask them to review the displayed payee. Knowing your phone number does not provide access to the account, and receiving a transfer does not require sending someone a verification code.

Changing banks or accounts
| Situation | Action | What to tell senders |
|---|---|---|
| Changing the account for incoming income | Review and update the link | The new bank and account |
| Linking a phone at another bank | Check the latest link is intentional | The payment destination changed |
| Closing an old account | Remove or move its aliases | Stop using old details |
| An unexpected name appears | Stop and investigate the identifier | Do not pay until verified |
Limits and costs still apply
Use it for supported domestic lira payments. Do not assume it replaces SWIFT or foreign-currency account details for an international payment. Review the actual transfer method before confirming.

Troubleshooting
Do not assume an alias always conceals every account detail: what is displayed depends on the service. Keep receipts and references for significant payments and verify the recipient rather than relying on convenience alone.
