Türkiye’s leading women’s volleyball league brings together Turkish internationals and overseas stars, with contests for the title, European places and survival. Its official name is the Vodafone Sultanlar Ligi. The opening round of the 2026–2027 season was scheduled for 3 and 4 October 2026.
Information as at 2 October 2026. The opening fixtures below reproduce the schedule published before the season; check current announcements for subsequent rounds.

VakıfBank entered as the 2025–2026 champions, having beaten Fenerbahçe by three matches to two in the final series.
The new season features 14 teams. They include VakıfBank, Fenerbahçe, Eczacıbaşı, Galatasaray, Türk Hava Yolları (Turkish Airlines), Zeren Spor, Beşiktaş and Nilüfer Belediyespor.
There is plenty to follow beyond the leading clubs. The races to reach the top four and avoid relegation give many matches direct consequences for the season’s outcome.
| Club | Leading players | What to watch |
|---|---|---|
| VakıfBank | Tijana Bošković, Zehra Güneş, Marina Markova | Variety in attack and the influence of blocking |
| Fenerbahçe | Melissa Vargas, Eda Erdem | Powerful attacking and experience at the net |
| Eczacıbaşı | Ekaterina Antropova, Ebrar Karakurt, Elif Şahin | How the setter distributes the ball among attacking options |
These players add to the appeal of meetings between the leading clubs. Assessing the whole team also means watching serve reception, back-court defence and how effectively the coach uses substitutes.
- Teams play every opponent at home and away, making 26 regular-season matches per club.
- The top four enter the title play-offs: first plays fourth, and second plays third.
- The semi-finals are best of three, with two wins needed to advance.
- The final is best of five, with three wins needed to win the title.
- Teams finishing fifth to eighth play separate classification series to determine those final positions.
- The teams finishing 13th and 14th are relegated to the division below.
Under the regulations, a 3–0 or 3–1 winner receives three league points. A 3–2 result gives the winner two points and the loser one. Taking a match to a deciding fifth set therefore earns a point even in defeat.
