Carousel in Bakırköy: location and visit plan
Carousel Alışveriş ve Yaşam Merkezi combines shopping and entertainment in Bakırköy on Istanbul’s European side. Its current official address is Zeytinlik Mahallesi, Fişekhane Caddesi No:5, 34140 Bakırköy. Save the name and building number: Capacity and Marmara Forum are separate centres in the area, each with its own address and entrance.
The mix includes clothing, footwear, home shopping, restaurants, the carousel ride, cinema and JoyPark. Around two to three hours is a flexible planning allowance for selected shopping and a meal, adding your chosen film or activity and travel time. Start with purchases needing fitting and leave heavy items until last.
The entrance-floor information desk lists 10:00–22:00, and JoyPark advertises the same daily hours for its branch. One facility’s timetable does not guarantee the hours of every shop or screening. Shops and floors: entrance is not basement
The directory uses Giriş for entrance level, KAT1 and KAT2 for the first and second upper floors, and 1B, 2B and 3B for basement levels. Keep the complete label, particularly when arranging a meeting or moving between games and cinema: 1B is not KAT1.
Begin with clothing stores matching your list instead of visiting every name. adL and Colin’s appear at entrance, Batik, Gusto and Journey on KAT1, and DeFacto on 1B. Branch names and levels help you locate them; they do not guarantee stock, sizes or a particular offer.

Clothing, gifts and a clear shopping budget
Compare fabric, cut and shoe comfort after trying items on, and read exchange conditions before paying, especially for gifts. Save the product code when comparing another branch. A reduction on selected items does not establish that the centre is an outlet or that every store offers the same discount.
D&R is an option for books and toys, and Karaca for homeware and gifts. Check weight, size and protective wrapping for breakables before filling your suitcase. With large appliances, settle delivery, warranty and destination compatibility: the presence of an electronics shop does not make transporting a large item practical for every traveller.
Ask the shop about actual Tax Free participation, shopper and item eligibility and documents before invoicing. Do not subtract an expected refund as a guaranteed discount from your day’s budget. Meals, coffee and the terrace
KAT2 brings together meal options including Arby’s, Bereket Döner, Burger King, Bursa Kebap Evi and Köfteci Ramiz, with Coffbox on the same level. Alaçatı Muhallebicisi, Cafe Vienna and Happy Moon’s are at entrance level. Choose a stop close to your plan rather than searching between floors for a particular name.
The centre lists terraces on the second floor, offering a possible break according to weather and available seating. A terrace does not establish that every restaurant serves it or follows identical seating hours. Read the menu, final price, portion and extras; ask the restaurant directly about allergens and ingredients for a child.
Before a film, allow time for ordering, paying and reaching the auditorium. Coffee or a quick meal does not automatically include a drink or dessert, and there is no single centre-wide meal tariff here.

Carousel ride, JoyPark, cinema and events
The Atlıkarınca carousel ride is listed on 1B, and the centre describes dedicated mounts for visitors with disabilities. Ask its operator about operation on your day, price, age, height and accompaniment requirements. An archival photograph or directory entry does not guarantee that every ride runs throughout the day.
JoyPark on 1B lists bowling, soft play, trampoline, karaoke, billiards, video and VR games among its branch attractions. It advertises daily 10:00–22:00 and +90 212 543 34 80. Select an activity suited to the child and confirm duration, supervision and requirements before loading the card. Non-slip socks are required for soft play and trampoline and sold at the entrance; no sock price is established here.
The branch page read on 28 October 2026 lists a 20 TL JoyPark Card for video, VR and prize games. The card fee and loaded balance are non-refundable, while the balance never expires. The centre’s announcement dated 27 October 2026 for the 29 October celebration shows a band at 14:00, 15:00 and 16:00, and a stage performance at 14:30, 15:30 and 16:30. These are times for that occasion, not a daily programme. Confirm location, attendance conditions and capacity: the announcement establishes neither an admission fee nor general free entry.

Arriving by rail, metro or car
Begin central Bakırköy planning from Bakırköy station on Marmaray, then map the final route to Fişekhane Caddesi No:5. The centre mentions Marmaray access, but this does not establish an internal station connection or one walking time from every exit.
For M3, compare Özgürlük Meydanı followed by the last leg to the address; the metro operator confirms Marmaray interchange there. From M1A or Metrobus, compare changing at İncirli onto M3 towards Bakırköy Sahil according to your starting point. Check service, interchange passages and the return on your travel day. İncirli itself is not the mall entrance.
By car or taxi, specify Carousel, the vehicle entrance and a pickup point. JoyPark also gives Halit Ziya Uşaklıgil Caddesi No:1 inside the centre, while the mall contact uses Fişekhane No:5. Choose the specific mall destination and ask about the suitable entrance rather than treating both addresses as one verified route. For a stroller or wheelchair, check lifts, passages and suitable crossings in advance.

Services, parking and costs
The baby-care room is on 1B, with children’s toilets inside it. Information advertises a free stroller and wheelchair; ask about availability and borrowing conditions on arrival if essential to your visit. The baby room is not childcare for an unattended child, and accessibility provision does not establish a completely step-free station-to-mall route.
ATMs are on 1B, and women’s and men’s prayer rooms on KAT1. Lost property is handled by entrance information. Play areas are listed on 1B and KAT2; that wording does not make an activity or supervision free. Dry Center appears on 1B and Başak Terzi on 3B: check turnaround before leaving clothing.
The centre advertises free parking for visitors who shop. Keep that condition: ask about purchase proof, duration, exceptions and overnight use before parking, and do not assume a specific free period not stated. No. Carousel is at Fişekhane No:5; Capacity is a separate centre. Save each destination’s name, address and entrance.
