30 August Victory Park in Ankara: Location and Planning a Visit
Beside AŞTİ intercity bus terminal, this green space was renovated and opened on 30 August 2019, taking its name from Victory Day in Turkey. It offers an outing for a walk or a break, subject to checking the site's current status.

1️⃣ Location and transport

View the park on the map. The map point does not establish an entrance; check the entrance, route and return direction before travelling.

2️⃣ A suggested walk

Follow open paths and choose a suitable place to rest. Paths and facilities can change; follow signs and barriers.
At the 2019 opening the park was described as covering about 166,000 square metres, with a 1,540-metre route in three lanes for walking, running and cycling. The grounds were described as including lawns and trees such as acacia and pine; choose the appropriate lane and watch for cyclists.
A cycling route was added later and bicycle rental was announced in 2019. Historical descriptions give different route lengths, so do not rely on them for the current distance; check current path conditions and rental availability before visiting.

3️⃣ A family plan

4️⃣ Costs and facilities

Current entry and activity prices and hours have not been verified here. Check each facility separately and budget for transport, food and parking.

5️⃣ Families and accessibility

The opening description included wooden seating and a play area made from logs, suggesting a possible family stop; their present condition and availability need checking. Ask about suitable paths and toilets for wheelchairs and pushchairs, and supervise children near roads and water.

6️⃣ Before setting off

Bring water and comfortable shoes and check weather and notices; services and activities may change.
