Start by confirming the stadium and match time, then choose accommodation around the journey there and back. A convenient station may matter more than the hotel's apparent proximity on a map, particularly if you need to cross between the two sides of the city.
Information dated 1 October 2026. These suggestions help you compare areas; check actual accommodation prices when booking.

| Trip priority | Areas to compare | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| A Fenerbahçe match | Kadıköy and the surrounding area | The walk to the stadium, street noise and the airport journey |
| A Beşiktaş match | Beşiktaş or Kabataş | The distance to Dolmabahçe and whether the hotel is on a slope |
| A Galatasaray match | Areas near the M2 line, such as Taksim, Şişli or Levent | Access to Sanayi Mahallesi and the change for Seyrantepe |
| Historic sightseeing and one match | Sultanahmet or Sirkeci | Connections and the actual time needed to return to your accommodation |
These are areas to compare, rather than a fixed ranking by price. Room rates vary with the date, standard of accommodation and cancellation policy; journey times can also differ between two streets in the same neighbourhood.
Add together accommodation, the match ticket and a supporter card where required, then allow for airport transfers, food and local transport. When comparing two rooms, check the total for the whole stay, including the charges shown on the booking screen.
- Check the room type, number of beds and children's policy if you are travelling as a family.
- Confirm check-in time and whether luggage storage is available if you arrive early.
- Compare cancellation and amendment conditions, especially before the match day and kick-off time have been confirmed.
- Read reviews covering quietness, cleanliness and location, and find the hotel entrance on the map.

For a trip centred on a match, arriving the day before gives you time to check in, prepare your ticket and work out the route. If the match finishes late, staying overnight afterwards makes it easier to leave the stadium and return without racing to catch a flight.
You can add a day for sightseeing or the club museum, depending on your budget. Calculate the airport journey from your accommodation's actual address and your flight time, allowing for traffic and departure procedures.
Before confirming accommodation: check the match schedule, and consult the metro timetable and ferry times if your plans depend on them. Choose booking conditions that suit how certain your itinerary is.
