Trabzon Botanical Park: Plants, Location and Planning a Visit​

Trabzon Botanical Park offers a place to walk and explore plants. There is a library within its grounds; check access to each part before planning.

Location and arrival​

Open the Çamoba botanical park map and check the entrance and return route.

Plant collections​

The garden describes collections of hydrangeas, roses, hazelnuts, medicinal and aromatic plants, and local grapes. Its medicinal and aromatic collection opened to visitors in 2022, and the local grape collection was planted in 2023. Check which sections are accessible today; displays vary with the season.

Planning a visit​

Explore the open paths and leave plants undisturbed, then pause where seating is available. Millet Kıraathanesi opened within the park complex in 2019 for reading and study. Check its current access and hours separately: a library schedule does not establish park-wide hours. Check weather and entrances before setting out.

Families​

Supervise children near slopes and water, and ask about step-free paths, stroller access and toilets. Combine the garden with another city stop only after checking distances and the return journey.

Current status​

A second phase was planned in February 2026; that does not establish that it is open today. Check current admission charges before visiting.
