Aqua Florya Istanbul: Shopping, Seaside Dining, Marmaray and the Aquarium​

Aqua Florya combines shopping, dining and a waterfront setting in Florya, within Bakırköy on Istanbul’s European side. It suits visitors who want to buy specific items and then sit near the sea, or combine the mall with neighbouring İstanbul Akvaryum. Decide first whether you want shopping alone or an aquarium visit too: the two have different hours and costs, and the facilities in the complex do not necessarily open and close together.

Location and hours: what are you visiting?​

The official address is Şenlikköy Mahallesi, Yeşilköy Halkalı Caddesi No:93, 34153 Florya–İstanbul. The mall advertises opening every day from 10:00 to 22:00. Those are centre hours; restaurants, the cinema and aquarium may follow separate schedules. Information and prices in this guide were read on operators’ pages on 28 October 2026 and should be checked when planning a later visit.

For a single-product shopping trip, check that the branch exists before travelling; do not base a long journey on assumed stock or sizes. Keep an indoor alternative for any outdoor stop if the weather changes.

Marmaray and the final walk​

The mall directs rail passengers to Florya Akvaryum on the Gebze–Halkalı line. TCDD’s route places it between Yeşilköy and Florya. Matching the full station name helps avoid getting off at the station named only after the neighbourhood. From Sirkeci or Yenikapı towards Florya, choose a train serving this stop towards Halkalı and check its destination and operating information before boarding.

After leaving the train, locate Aqua Florya on a pedestrian map and follow public signs and crossings to a suitable entrance. Save the station name for your return. Allow time for walking and reaching your shop or attraction entrance, especially with a stroller or shopping bags. This guide does not establish a numbered exit, measured walking time or a step-free route.

Plan your journey from the Marmaray station most suitable for your accommodation, checking a service to Florya Akvaryum and its direction before departure. Include transfers, walking and waiting, and check your return journey instead of assuming trains run until late-opening restaurants close.

Driving and parking: budget for the whole day​

The centre’s description lists parking capacity for 1500 cars. Published capacity does not guarantee a space on arrival or establish free parking. No current parking tariff or free allowance is verified here: read the entrance tariff and ask about payment before leaving the car for a long visit.

Record your floor and zone and photograph a nearby sign. Agree on a clear meeting entrance with your family. If using valet parking, ask about its charge and conditions separately from ordinary parking. When comparing driving with Marmaray, include road time, the return journey and luggage rather than a single fare. Proximity to the former Atatürk Airport does not describe the journey from today’s Istanbul Airport.

When comparing a device or shoes, note the model, final price and branch warranty or exchange conditions. Leave heavy purchases until later and retain receipts if you need to contact the shop. Aqua Florya is not a promise of the lowest price or a discount across all brands.

Food, the sea and cinema​

Seaview cafés and restaurants are part of the destination’s appeal, but the view depends on the venue and chosen table. Clarify that before waiting for a particular seat. The directory lists Big Chefs on the ground floor and Baydöner and Burger King on the third. These are examples, rather than a complete list or quality ranking. Check menus, prices and any dietary requirements with the restaurant itself.

Fit your meal into the day: after shopping for a short visit, or between the aquarium and shops on a longer trip. With children, take a break before they become tired and carry essential supplies rather than assuming every café stocks them. For a cinema visit, check the screening, language, subtitles, age rating and finishing time. Settle your return transport before booking a late film.

The aquarium: separate hours and dated prices​

Neighbouring İstanbul Akvaryum is an optional attraction separate from shopping and dining. Its official visiting-hours page shows 10:00–19:00 on weekdays and 10:00–20:00 at weekends. Do not postpone arrival on the assumption that it follows the mall’s 22:00 closing. Ask the operator about last admission and a suitable visit window before planning a late arrival.

The following Turkish-lira prices were read in the two official online shops on 28 October 2026. Eligibility categories differ between them:

The pages state free admission for babies aged 0–24 months and online-ticket validity of one month from purchase. Because the child table starts at age two, confirm the applicable category with the operator for a child exactly 24 months old before paying; the abbreviated bands do not establish eligibility at that boundary. Choosing a website language does not establish campaign eligibility: confirm the category, conditions and total before payment. Photograph, exhibition or VR packages differ from standard admission, so choose additions that suit your programme. An aquarium ticket is not automatically included with a meal or mall purchase.

Children, accessibility and a flexible visit plan​

Afacan Park appears in the entertainment directory on the ground floor. Its listing does not establish free admission or suitability for every age and height. Ask about activity rules, accompanying adults and prices before promising a child a particular activity. For a baby-care room, wheelchair loan or a particular accessible entrance, contact mall information to confirm availability and location. Do not assume every service exists on every floor. With a wheelchair or stroller, also check station-lift operation and your route on the day.

Florya Akvaryum is the station specified in the centre’s directions. They are different stations.

Are the mall and aquarium one ticket?
Aquarium booking and pricing are separate; a shopping or dining budget does not automatically include a paid attraction.

Can I visit without the aquarium?
Yes. Build your day around shops, food and the waterfront if that suits your interests and budget.

Is parking free?

Do all restaurants close at 22:00?
